01 The Problem
Ladder injuries continue to be a significant portion constructions incident. The challenge in online training is that training from static slides doesn’t translate well real world knowledge.
02 The Solution
Interactive models of ladders that can be inspected and simulated interactions of proper ladder setup techniques engage muscle memory and tie these motions to real world usage.
03 Description
This demonstration is a short interactive course created in Godot that showcases various features like multiple parallax backgrounds, interactive 3D elements, animated characters and backgrounds, branching dialogue, and a few other things I tossed in there. The parallax effects make it feel like you are moving through a construction scene instead of just going slide to slide. The animated host and various background elements keeps your eyes focused on the screen. In one interaction, the users practices dragging a ladder to the appropriate distance to properly set it up engaging their minds and body.
